This place was better than expected from the pictures and prior reviews. It is HUGE and has lots of extras. Great for kids, with some toys and coloring supplies. The kitchen is very well equipped, one of the best short-term rental kitchens I've found. Also, a beautiful and private location in the snowy mountains north of Durango.

I took a group of CEOs and their spouses for a long weekend retreat and stayed at Trappers Ridge. The house is beautifully appointed, almost every bedroom has its own private bathroom, the views are incredible, they have everything you could think of and more. We brought more than we needed to; as the kitchen has the cooking utensils and appliances you need, there are games and books and the area is private and peaceful. Everyone, to a person, commented on what a great location and house we had gotten. When you take 5 couples anywhere, you run the risk of someone not being happy. They were all very pleased with Trappers Ridge. Thank you.

This was the perfect property for four families. The kitchen was huge, there were plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, and fantastic views from every room in the house. This house is about a 35 minute drive to Durango, and about a 5 minute drive to Purgatory. And, there's a separate suite downstairs for kids with bunk beds, a hot tub, and a game room.

We we very impressed with this property. We had a family of 15 and everyone loved the accommodations. The location was easily accessible and had gorgeous views with a cute little restaurant bar hang out across the street. Their was a lot of wildlife adding to a wonderful experience in Colorado! We will be back for sure.

Our group had just completed the Race Across the West. Trappers was the perfect spot to rest, celebrate and recover. Size of the property made it perfect for 6 couples and all of our equipment and vehicles. Spectacular views and cool summer temps at that elev made it very enjoyable

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our large group. The views were beautiful and our kids had a blast sledding and exploring the outdoors. We will definitely be back!

House, location and it's amenities are simply fantastic. We loved our stay so much that we extend one more day. Property management is awesome. They were available 24/7 for any questions. We really enjoyed.

Plenty of room for 12 adults and 5 children, it was nice and clean, comfy beds and the lake was nice. Could use a little TLC. All in all it was nice.

Our whole family gathered here with children, grandchildren and teens. It was perfect for all of us. Such a beautiful, pristine setting right on the lake. We loved the set up of the house with all the amenities we could hope for. Thank you so much!!

We loved Trappers Ridge!! What a fabulous home and view!! The home was furnished to the fullest and so spacious. Our family of 13 had plenty of room and loved every minute of our vacay. We will be back!
