This lovely cabin is nestled in an Aspen Grove and provides wonderful amenities for your stay. Situated between Downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort, right near Electra Lake, you can enjoy being tucked away in the woods while still being close to all that Durango has to offer. Featuring a private outdoor hot tub, game room with ping pong, and a horseshoe pit, you and your family will have endless fun at this home. The open living room features a cozy wood fireplace and majestic floor to ceiling windows. It is open to the fully stocked kitchen and dining area. There is a large balcony with outdoor seating. On the main floor you will find 3 rooms. The first has a queen bed, the second is great for the kids with two sets of twin bunks, and the third is a bonus room with sofa sleeper should you need additional arrangements. Downstairs from the main floor you will find the game room with ping pong table. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed plus two twin beds, and there is a full bath available on this floor as well. On the upstairs level above the main floor you will find the spacious master suite with a queen bed and large en suite bath, plus a private balcony overlooking the aspens and cliffside. Starlink internet service is available in case you need to work remotely or want to stream your favorite shows and movies. Electra Lake is less than 2 miles away and is a great place for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Ask about our discounts for extended stays.

Very nice place to stay. Nestled in the aspen Grove with deer passing thru from time to time. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Durango has plenty of good places to eat. It takes about 25min to drive into town. Purgatory is very close, maybe 5min. As mentioned in the description, the water has an off taste. There is a water cooler which is nice. Well worth a stay to enjoy Durango Cheers!

The setup of rooms was ideal for our 3 different families to all have little space. The kitchen was well stocked and the ping pong table was fun.

We loved Aspen Grove Chalet Nice fireplace and wood. Hot tub was adequate. Nice to have access to Purgy close.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. You definitely need four wheel drive to get into the neighborhood in winter but it was well worth it. The snow was beautiful and the hot tub was dreamy. It was very clean inside and the hosts were very friendly!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at The Aspen Chalet! Ages range from 5-58, everyone loved the cabin. The game room in the garage was great for the kids to get their energy out! The kitchen had just about everything we needed to make our large Thanksgiving meal. The kids loved the bunkbeds. Teens loved their own spaces and we loved the suit with our private balcony. We hope to return soon!

This house was incredible. We had the best time. The views from the front deck and back balcony were stunning. Being surrounded by the aspens created a calming and serene environment. The house had plenty of room for the 11 of us! We made some great memories and we cannot wait to go back! The house was well stocked and it had everything we needed, and more! I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!

It was a great place to celebrate a 75th birthday party with my children and grandchildren. All 12 of us were very comfortable and the ping pong table in the hot tub were a great hit

We loved being close to nature while visiting with our family and friends here. The property is perfect for spending time with family in a tranquil setting. There is plenty to do and the kids were never bored

We filled up every bed and the house worked for meals and hanging out. Location is beautiful, tucked away in the Aspen trees. Hot tub was fantastic for both kids and adults. Good communication with host, they answered questions quickly, easy entry and exit. About 35 minute drive from Durango but there are grocery stores about 15 minutes away.
