The Beaver Pond Lodge

Welcome to the Beaver Pond Lodge. This stunning mountain cabin has everything you are looking for. Beautiful views of the pond and a private hot tub make this the perfect place for your next getaway. This home is conveniently located just 1 mile from Durango Mountain Ski Resort, in a quiet and relaxing setting. You can enjoy all the resort has to offer and still feel nestled in the peaceful beauty of the outdoors. The main floor has an open living and dining area to the kitchen, which is a cook's dream with new appliances and plenty of space. The cozy living room has large picture windows great for curling up by the fire and enjoying the view. One of the couches is also a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping options. There is dining for 8, as well as bar seating for 4. Also located on the main floor is the master suite, complete with king bed, lovely views and its own private bath. Another bedroom with queen bed is on this floor, as well as a full bath. Upstairs in the loft is a large flat panel tv and couches for getting comfortable and watching a movie. Two more bedrooms are found on this floor, each with a queen bed and a shared bath. There is another sofa sleeper here in the loft for even more sleeping options. Located on the back deck is a private hot tub perfect for relaxing after a long day of mountain activities. You can also sit in one of the many Adirondack chairs out front and enjoy the beautiful pond. You might even see a beaver working on his home! No matter what season you decide to come to Durango, we are sure you will enjoy your time at the Beaver Pond Lodge.

We had a comfortable, beautiful, and memorable stay at Beaver Pond Lodge. It was a gorgeous location and the lodge had plenty of room for our multi-generational family. It is super convenient to Purgatory and made an easy trip to go skiing. It was a little farther to downtown Durango, but very easy to get anywhere we were planning on exploring. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be renting it again on our next trip to this area.

We had an incredible time! The place and area were beautiful! The train ride was the best experience. We wish we could have had a fire at the cabin. The restaurant across the street was so good we wish we would have tried it the first day so that we could have gone more than once.

Perfect layout for families. Great kitchen and the basement playroom/bunk was a real plus. Property management came right over to adjust the hot tub for us. The area is beautiful with lots to do. Only suggestion would be to get better towels for bathrooms.

A beautiful home. So convenient to the ski slopes. Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of room for a large family vacation. Definitely will try to book it again if we go back to Purgatory.

Anyone wanting a roomy, beautiful and easy to get to cabin, this is the one! We enjoyed the drive, cleanliness and outstanding care. We promise, if you think it's expensive, it is worth every penny. Sure it's a 30 minute drive from durango, but the view and peacefulness is worth it and just up the road from Purgatory ski resort and an extremely nice horse riding stables that are reasonably priced. We recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Durango!

Second time staying at this great house. We love all the rooms with separate baths and extra beds for kids. The house is well stocked and very clean. Fabulous view from kitchen dining area

We absolutly loved staying at Bever Pond Lodge! The house was beautiful and everyone loved it! It was a little further from town than we realized but that's no big deal. We even got to see 10-12 elk out back while we were on the deck one morning. We would highly recommend this property!

My family and I stayed a week here during this summer (10 people) and we all really enjoyed this house. It was clean and everything was nice. The house is so spacious and roomy for everyone to have their own space and still be close. We really enjoyed the views and scenery. We truly had a wonderful time here. Look forward to visiting the area again.
